USS Hadley featured in Tin Can Sailors newsletter

The Tin Can Sailors Association featured “Kamikaze Destroyer” with a 3 page cover article in their July/Aug newsletter. That’s Lt. Patrick MCGann above the scoreboard on USS Hadley’s bridge. This photo appears on Page 213 in the book. McGann was awarded the the Navy Cross for his record setting gunnery display. The article includes excerpts from the book.

Visit with Marty Weibel

In September of 2014, Jeff and Joy Veesenmeyer stopped to see the Weibels in Minnetonka, MN. Marty looked great. He had surgery earlier that year.
