Terry Lee Stokes EM2/c

Terry grew up on a ranch in the Texas hill country. After Boot Camp he was sent to Electrician Mates school. This training and his ranch hand know-how enabled him to provide emergency power to the wounded Hadley on 11 May 1945.

Stokes was the man who disconnected all power to the Hadley before it was decommissioned and towed to the scrap yard. He stayed in the Navy for 10 yrs.
