Raymond V. Kunnemann S1/c
RAYMOND V. KUNNEMANN, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 at Parkview Hospital. Born in Imperial, Neb., he was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church. He retired in 1983 from International Harvester after 23 years of service.
The U.S. Navy veteran who served in World War II was a member of the American Legion Post 330. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Berdeen; sons, Lonney (Karen) Kunnemann of New Haven, Ritchie Kunnemann of Roosevelt, Utah, Steve (Karen) Kunnemann of Broomfield, Colo.; daughters, Patricia (Denny) Smith of New Haven, Debra Davis of Fort Wayne; brothers, Orville Kunneman of Imperial, Neb., Delbert Kunnemann of Billings, Mont.; sister, Rosaline Peterson of Billings, Mont.; grandchildren, Julia, Sherry, Erich, Tamara, Joseph, Laura, Brady, Robin; and five great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by brothers, Elmer, Clarence, Arnold; and sisters, Irene and Bernice. Service is 2 p.m., Friday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana Hwy 930 E, New Haven. Burial is in church cemetery. Memorials are to Emanuel Lutheran Church or Central Lutheran School.
